Dave Blakeslee plays mandolin, fiddle, and sings lead and harmony vocals.

Raised by a Classical pianist mother and a jazz enthusiast father, Dave was slinging drum sticks at age 4, keeping time to Big Band Swing and Dixieland.

As a teenager he lost interest in trumpet and began playing guitar and mandolin. Accomplishment on the instruments led to Dave playing in many notable bands in the Omaha / Lincoln, NE area, such as Midwest Ramblers, Curley Enis and the Roadrangers, Bluegrass Crusade, and the Sandy Creek Pickers (1980-1984, 2010-...)
